Directed by Eric Gravel, this 2021 film has a simple premise with suspenseful execution. Though the story focuses on a mother and her family life.
The following is a synopsis of the Full Time (A Plein Temps) film:
Julie (Laure Calamy) is a divorced mother from her husband, Alex. Now he lives in a Paris suburb with his two children: Chloe (Sasha Lemaitre Cremaschi) and Nolan (Nolan Arizmendi).
One time, her ex-husband could not be contacted. For no reason, Julie finally tried to make a living by working in five-star hotels.
Every day, Julie leaves the house for work. Until France was hit by a strike which caused all transportation to not operate.
This made it difficult for Julie as she had to get to work on time. Julie also entrusts her two children to Mrs. Lusigny (Genevicie Mnich).
Unfortunately, Lusigny objected to two factors. First, Nolan is a lot of behavior. Second, his daughter did not agree that Lusigny at his old age was still working as a child caretaker.
The situation is complicated by office politics. Julie secretly applies to another company for better luck. Then, an employee complains to the hotel manager, Sylvie (Anne Suarez).
The conflict develops when Julie has to deal with a case from the office while her family's business has not been completed.
Full Time (A Plein Temps) is a family film with adrenaline supported by Irene Dresel's musical composition. This home drama is transformed into a thriller that makes the audience think, splashed the sensation of being in a hurry, racing against time, and most importantly empathizing with the main character.
