JAKARTA - The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) visited the Office of the Head of the Propam Police, Inspector General of Police Ferdy Sambo in Duren Tiga, Pancoran, South Jakarta. The aim is to oversee the investigation process related to the alleged shooting exchange between two police officers, Brigadier J and Bharada E, Monday, July 18.

Albertus said that those who visited the location of the office of Inspector General Pol Sambo's house were the Daily Chief of Kompolnas Benny J Mamoto and Commissioner Poengky Indarti. Their visit to the location was planned, because it was part of the process of supervising the investigative team at the two-star general's house.
"Actually, our supervisors happened to receive information according to the schedule that the investigator team had visited the crime scene," he said.
"Our interests there will be monitored directly, whether there are irregularities, so that we can directly interact with investigators," he added.
Previously reported, the National Police stated that the investigation into the bloody incident that killed Brigadier J alias Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat had been upgraded to the investigation stage. In fact, at this time the handling of this case was withdrawn to the Polda Metro Jaya.
"Yes (the case of Brigadier J is being investigated, ed) according to what the National Police Chief said," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, to VOI, Tuesday, July 19.
In this case, there were at least two police reports (LP) which served as the basis for the investigation. First, regarding the alleged attempted murder. The second concerns the threat of violence against women.
In fact, Dedi said that this bloody incident is no longer being investigated by the South Jakarta Metro Police. Because, the handling has been withdrawn to the Polda Metro Jaya.

So far, it has only been said that Bareskrim will continue to provide assistance in investigating the case of Brigadier J.
