JAKARTA - After his tenure as Commissioner of the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia 2017-2022 ended, Hasyim Asy'ari again volunteered as a candidate for commissioner. He passed the series of fit and proper tests well. He was re-elected as a commissioner of the Indonesian KPU for the 2022-2027 term of service.
