There Are 4 COVID-19 Patients Left In Bangka Belitung
JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas) of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, recorded four positive confirmed patients who were still undergoing health care.
"Today, Sunday (17/8), there are four active COVID-19 patients, from the previous eight or four people who have been declared cured," said Bangka Regency COVID-19 Task Force spokesman Boy Yandra as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, July 17.
He said, four active COVID-19 patients who are still undergoing health care, namely, two people from Sungaililat District, Riau Silip District, one person, and one person from Merawang District.
"I hope that all four patients recover soon and the Bangka Regency area returns to a safe zone from the spread of the corona virus," said Boy Yandra.
He reminded that the implementation of protocol discipline must be improved, especially Monday, July 18 tomorrow, children's learning activities at school will start again after the new school year holiday.
"Schools must really implement health protocols for students and teachers because the spread of COVID-19 can re-emerge," he said.
Boy Yandra said, in addition to mandatory health care, residents who have not received vaccine services are also asked to register immediately at the nearest vaccine outlet.
"Acceleration of complementary dose vaccine services continues to be intensified by the regional government together with the TNI and Polri in order to reach the maximum number considering that until now it has only reached under 50 percent of the total target of 255,161 people," he said.
For more than two years, the spread of COVID-19 in Bangka Regency has recorded a total of 12,064 cases.
In detail, 11,661 COVID-19 patients were declared cured and 299 people died.
