COVID-19 Update As Of July 13: New Patients Increase 3,822, Total Active Cases Increase To 23,787
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 88,854 specimens were examined with the results of 3,822 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,120,169 people and active cases rose by 1,871 to 23,787 cases", said Ministry of Health data, Wednesday, July 13.
Today's recovered cases increased by 1,939 cases, bringing the total to 5,939,564 people recovered. Then, 12 positive confirmations died and a total of 156,818 people.
The province with the highest number of new cases was DKI Jakarta with 2,021 cases and a total of 1,286,495 cases. Followed by West Java with 756 new cases with a total of 1,118,313 cases. Banten has 453 new cases and a total of 300,908 cases. Then, East Java with 221 new cases and a total of 580,032 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 876 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 438 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 260 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 185 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 101,753,259.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 4.82 percent", it wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 5,904 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
