Losing Lawsuit PS Glow, Skipper 99 And Shandy Purnamasari Are Obliged To Pay Compensation Of IDR 37 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Pstore Glow Bersinar Indonesia or PS Glow's lawsuit was granted by the Surabaya Commercial District Court. This lawsuit is filed by PS Glow or the use of trademarks used by MS Glow.

As a result, skipper 99 or Gilang Widya Pramana and Shandy Purnamasari along with Titis Indah Wahyu Agustin and Sheila Marthalia had to pay compensation. Reportedly they are obliged to pay Rp. 37 billion.

In addition, the plaintiff MS Glow is considered to have the right to use the PS Glow trademark.

On the other hand, the court did not accept the value of the compensation claim submitted by PS Glow of Rp360 billion. The court stated that the defendant was obliged to pay Rp. 37.9 billion.

Previously, PSstore Glow Bersinar sued MS Glow for trademarks. PS Glow claims that their trademark has been registered with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

MS Glow also claims they have registered the trademark first. Arman Hanis as MS Glow's lawyer could not show the registration date but he believed that MS Glow was the first.

Launching their account, Juragan 99 and Shandy Purnamasari were in the Holy Land for the pilgrimage. So far, the two have not spoken about the outcome of this decision.
