Visit Darul Hijrah Islamic Boarding School In South Kalimantan, Menparekraf Sandi Uno Encourages Students To Become YouTubers
BANJAR - The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, encourages students to become YouTubers or creative content creators on YouTube.
Sandi hoped that when he visited the Darul Hijrah Islamic Boarding School in Cindai Alus, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan, Tuesday.
Sandi visited the Islamic boarding school in order to review the training of Indonesian digitalpreneur students which was attended by students in 13 districts/cities in South Kalimantan Province.
According to Sandi, this is an effort to train students to create content for the creative economy, digital economy, in the form of animation, podcasts and other content as YouTubers.
"Moreover, the motivator we have brought for this activity is YouTuber Ustadz Syam El-Marusy, whose followers have more than 3 million," said Sandi.
It is hoped, said Sandi, that with the YouTuber's motivation as one of the icons of Islamic content creators, it will inspire the thoughts and creative ideas of the students in South Kalimantan.
"Hopefully it will inspire and become a creative economy product that has added value to be able to open up business opportunities and job opportunities," he said.
With the digital and technological expertise possessed by the students, said Sandi, it is also useful to promote Islamic boarding school products.
"It is also related to religious tourism in this province," he said.
Sandi also appreciated the entrepreneurial Darul Hijrah Islamic boarding school which has lodging facilities, where he had the opportunity to inaugurate it, Tuesday.
The Darul Hijrah Islamic boarding school in South Kalimantan, said Sandi, is also an educational tour, because there will be the Al-Falakiyah tower.
"So there are many opportunities for students to be creative, advance their Islamic boarding school, and also provide economic value for their income if they can make good use of current digital technology," he said.
