Police Chief Explanation About CCTV Not Working During Bloody Incident Police Shoot Police At The Home Of The Propam Division Head
JAKARTA - The surveillance camera/CCTV in the house of the Head of the Propam Division did not work during a shootout between Brigadier J or Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat and Bharada RE. Police said the cause was because the CCTV camera decoder was damaged.
"Yes, the decoder is (broken, ed)," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto to reporters at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit, Tuesday, July 12.
With that breakdown, it wasn't just one camera that didn't work. However, all the CCTV installed in the halfway house were dead.
Therefore, the shootout between Brigadier J and Bharada RE was not recorded.
"(CCTV, ed) The one in the house (dead, ed)," he said.
However, when asked about the number of cameras installed in the house, Budhi could not confirm it. Because, until now it has not calculated in detail.
Previously, Kombes Budhi also mentioned that the CCTV at the Propam Kadiv's house had been damaged 2 weeks ago.
"Incidentally the CCTV was damaged approximately 2 weeks ago," he said.
Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabara was shot dead by Bharada E, on Friday, July 8. The shooting was said to have taken place at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta.
The results of the investigation while shooting each other began with the screams of the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. Because Brigadier J tried to harass him and put a gun to his head.
The shout was heard by Bharada RE. Thus, he went to the source of the sound and saw Brigadier J.
However, when questioned about what happened, Brigadier J shot him. Thus, a shootout ensued and caused Brigadier J to die.
