PTPP Records New Contracts Worth IDR 10,932 Trillion Until June 2022

JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), has recorded the acquisition of new contracts up to the end of June of Rp. 10,932 trillion. The acquisition of this new contract grew by 27.90 percent compared to the same period in the previous year (yoy) of IDR 8,547 trillion.

The acquisition of the new contract that was won by PTPP until the end of June consisted of projects, including: the construction of the Kalibaru Terminal Project Phase 1B Tanjung Priok Port amounting to Rp3.83 trillion, the Semarang-Batang Pipeline project of Rp1.060 trillion, Landmark BSI Aceh project amounting to Rp296 billion, interior work on the RI Attorney General's building amounting to Rp286 billion, Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Jakarta project amounting to Rp207 billion, Subsidiaries amounting to Rp3.66 trillion, and so on.

Until June 2022, new contracts from BUMN (SOE) dominate the acquisition of new contracts for PTPP with a contribution of 75 percent, followed by Government (Government) at 24 percent, and Private (Private) at 1 percent. The composition of the project acquisition consists of Parent by 66.49 percent and Subsidiaries by 33.51 percent.

One of the projects that have succeeded in increasing the value of the contract is the Integrated Construction Work Contract for the Design and Build of the Cirebon-Semarang Gas Transmission Pipeline Phase I Semarang-Batang section and the Kalibaru Terminal Design & Build Project Phase 1B Tanjung Priok Port.

Being one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN), the Integrated Construction Work Project Design and Build Construction of the Cirebon-Semarang Gas Transmission Pipeline Phase I of the Semarang-Batang section is part of the planned interconnection of transmission pipelines between Sumatra, West Java and East Java. This project sourced from the APBN was won by KSO PTPP - Elnusa with a work implementation period of 15 months.

In addition to getting pipeline work, PTPP has also succeeded in obtaining work on the design and construction of the Kalibaru Terminal Phase 1B at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta worth Rp3.836 trillion.

"PTPP managed to book new contracts of Rp. 10,932 trillion until the end of June 2022. With this total acquisition, PTPP is still pursuing new contracts this year to achieve the target set by management. To maximize the acquisition of new contracts this year, PTPP will focus on strategic projects owned by the government and SOEs," said PTPP Corporate Secretary Bakhtiyar Efendi in a statement, Tuesday, July 12.
