Police Shoot Each Other At Police Officer's House: Bharada E Opens Fire For Self Defense
JAKARTA - The National Police said that Bharada E's shooting of Brigadier J to death was a defensive measure. Because, in that series of events he was shot first.
"Bharada E carried out the (shooting, ed) because he was defending the attack by Brigadier J," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters on Monday, July 11.

"There's no misunderstanding," he said.
So far, it is known that Bharada E's presence at the house of the National Police official in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta was indeed on duty.
Because of that, continued Ramadhan, investigators are currently exploring the real intent and purpose of Brigadier J being in the house.
"What is clear is that Bharada E is there, in the context of stand-by, it is in the official residence," said Ramadhan.
Brigadier J was shot dead by another police officer, Bharada E, on Friday, July 8. The shooting is said to have taken place at the house of a police official in the area, South Jakarta.
The shooting began when Brigadier J entered the house of a high-ranking National Police official in the Duren Tiga Service Housing area, South Jakarta.
Then, Bharada E came and saw Brigadier J. Those who were said to not know each other had an argument. Until finally, shooting each other and causing Brigadier J to die.
From the information circulating, Brigadier J is an aide to the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. However, there is no confirmation about this yet.
