The Sandbox Partners With Global Entertainment Company CJ ENM

JAKARTA – Metaverse developer company The Sandbox (SAND) has become a new tool for global entertainment content company from South Korea, CJ ENM. Where the company is leveraging the SAND network to expand the distribution of content in the metaverse.

Cooperation between the two parties occurred on July 7 last week. The partnership is aimed at bringing a variety of content to all users in the virtual world.

According to Coinspeaker, CJ ENM has been looking for ways to expand its content online and provide customers with an immersive viewing experience. However, he plans to do this through participatory fan service by combining real and virtual life experiences.

Thus, in his television program, he will display the activity of CJ ENM content users in the metaverse. Cindy Lee, CEO of The Sandbox Korea said:

“We are proud to be a partner of South Korea's leading content company CJ ENM. CJ ENM covers all kinds of genres; drama, film, entertainment, musical, etc. This diverse content will enrich the metaverse with lots of fun experiences.”

CJ ENM will also collaborate with The Sandbox to build the “K Content Metaverse”. It will do so by using the Intellectual Property (IP) of globally popular television series and movies and bringing new types of experiences to users.

“We will be implementing various metaverse related projects starting with our partnership with The Sandbox. CJ ENM will provide a new level of experience where users can create their own content as content creators,” said Sang Yeop Kim, Head of CJ ENM Content R&D Center.

Previously, Sandbox was also reported to have formed a partnership with the virtual community of Meta Hollywood, which is a community of film lovers, creators, and film studios.

For your information, Meta Hollywood is one of the projects released by Animoca Brands in collaboration with Planet Hollywood Group. Sandbox is believed to be the organizer of Hollywood-themed virtual meetings.
