Coming To The House Of Victims Of Obscenity In Cipondoh, Kak Seto Will Guard Cases To Court

TANGERANG - Chairman of the Indonesian Child Protection Agency (LPAI) Seto Mulyadi or commonly called Kak Seto visited the house of the victim of sexual abuse by porridge traders in Cipondoh, Tangerang City on Thursday, July 7 afternoon.

He said he would follow the obscenity case to court. This is done to find out the clarity of the case.

"How far have the perpetrators been arrested or not, and then when they are in the police, we will also oversee the case starting from the realm of the prosecutor's office to the court," Seto told reporters in Cipondoh, Tangerang City, Thursday, July 7.

In addition, Seto also said that he would coordinate with the Tangerang City Health Office (Dinkes) to pay attention to the psychology of the victims. So that the incident experienced by the victims does not happen again when they grow up.

"So we will also coordinate with the Health Office from Tangerang City to be able to do therapy so that there are no such mental disorders due to the violence experienced by the children," he said.

Not only that, he will also coordinate with the Tangerang City Police regarding the legal efforts that have been given to the perpetrators.

"We will monitor how legal steps are given to the perpetrators," he said.

On that occasion, Seto reminded parents and local RTs to remind their children of their vigilance. This is done to prevent unwanted things from happening.

Sour Driver Arrested

Tangerang Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Zain Dwi Nugroho said the porridge driver with the initials AF alias Tolib (33) was arrested by the police after being suspected of committing acts of obscenity. The perpetrator is suspected of molesting four children in Cipondoh Indah, Tangerang City, Banten.

Police said the four victims were 6-7 years old. The obscene act was allegedly carried out in May 2022.

The suspect promised the victims he would be given a pigeon if they obeyed his wishes. Zain explained that the case could be revealed after a report from H (28), the parent of one of the victims, on Thursday, June 30.

Furthermore, unit VI of Women and Children Services (PPA) of the Tangerang City Metro Police Satreskrim secured a porridge maker with the initials AF alias Tolib.

We have arrested the perpetrators. We apply Article 76E in conjunction with Article 82 of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law No. 23 of 2022 concerning Child Protection into Law. The penalty is 15 years in prison.
