Bob Tutupoly's Body Buried With Widuri's Accompaniment
JAKARTA - Bob Tutupoly, who is familiarly called om Bob, died at the age of 82 years. She was born in Surabaya, East Java on November 13, 1939. Bob's body has been buried Thursday, July 7.
Famous as the singer of Widuri songs, Bob is also an Indonesian singer, host, and actor. Bob Tutupoly has starred in several film titles such as "The Love Story of the Rickshaw Driver" (1958), "Curious" (1977), and "One Eye" (2008).
Bob Tutupoly is also famous when he hosted the show "Tembang Kenangan" on indosiar television station, thanks to which he successfully won the Legend Award at anugerah Musik Indonesia 2015.
Bob Tutupoly's body arrived at the Tanah Kusir TPU around 10:50 a.m. Upon arrival at the TPU, Bob's body was then taken to the burial grounds.
Bob's casket looks beautiful with white flower arrangement decorations. Prayer accompaniment accompanied Bob Tutupoly's funeral procession.
Bob Tutupoly's daughter Sasha Karina Tutupoly couldn't help crying in the middle of the father's funeral procession. Sasha seemed to be corroborated by the closest person.
According to Sasha, Bob Tutupoly since December 2021 has been going back and forth to the hospital. Last May, Bob re-entered the hospital until he entered the ICU room. Until finally passed away at 00.03 WIB.
Sasha recalls her father figure as a father who was assertive and even rude when speaking. Even so, Sasha is sure that Bob Tutupoly is soft-hearted.
"He speaks harshly but his heart is very soft," said Bob Tutupoly's only daughter.
There was something unusual after the body was interred. Widuri's song accompanies the funeral service of the late Bob Tutupoly. After the body was put into the lahad burrow, the family asked someone to sing the song Widuri.
