Eder Militao Extends Contract At Real Madrid Until 2028, Arrested With Release Clause Of IDR 15 Trillion
JAKARTA – Eder Militao has officially signed a new contract with Real Madrid. The Brazil international is tied for a duration until 2028.
Talks regarding this new contract have started since last March. However, it is only now that the signing of the new contract has been carried out.
As happened in the previous contract renewal, the 24-year-old defender was detained with a fairly large release clause, namely 1000 million Euros or Rp. 15 trillion.
Militao signed for Real Madrid in the winter of 2019. However, he only left Porto and joined Los Blancos in the summer of that year.
In his first season he spent more time on the bench. He then began to gain the trust of Zinedine Zidane in the middle of the 20/2021 season when Ramos and Varane were injured.
Since then, no one has taken a position in the starting eleven. Now he is also an important part in the back line of the club from the Spanish capital.
When Carlo Ancelotti took over as coach at Los Blancos to replace Zidane, Militao's position remained unwavering. For that, it's no wonder the management wants to keep him as long as possible.
This summer, Real Madrid are more focused on extending the contracts of their key players than buying new players. Previously, they had offered new contracts for Luka Modric, Vinicius Jr, and Rodrygo Goes.
