Wife Sells Husband's Motorbike That Was Used To Steal Because It Went Viral
JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cengkareng Police has again arrested a fugitive for theft in an empty house in the Duri Kosambi area, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. The theft was caught on CCTV and has gone viral on social media.
The perpetrator with the initials JO was arrested while he was with his wife in the Serpong area, Tangerang, Banten, Sunday, July 3, evening.
The Cengkareng Police Chief, Commissioner of Police Ardhie Demastyo, explained that the role of JO's wife was to sell stolen goods belonging to the victim.
"This female perpetrator has the initials PI, the wife of JO. She also sells the motorcycle that her husband used during the action," said Commissioner of Police Ardhie, Monday, July 4.
According to Ardhie, the motorbike was sold to eliminate evidence after the action went viral on social media Instagram.
Currently, his party is investigating the perpetrator's information to find out the location of the sale of valuables belonging to the victim named Desi.
"When we secured the evidence, only a few cell phones were seized," he said.

Meanwhile, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cengkareng Police is still developing a case to hunt down the stolen goods. Currently, the suspect's initials JO and his wife are still being investigated by the police.
Previously, it was reported that a specialist in the theft of an empty house (rumsong) that occurred in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, was finally arrested by the police. The perpetrator with the initials FB alias Adi was arrested in the Bekasi area, West Java.
The Head of the Cengkareng Police, Commissioner of Police Ardhie Demastyo, said the perpetrators, after launching their actions, fled to the Bekasi area.
"We have arrested one person who broke into the house in Duri Kosambi, Cengkareng," he said, Sunday, July 3.
