Examine Ex-Director Of PT Pertamina Dwi Soetjipto, KPK Finds Out LNG Procurement Transactions

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the process of buying and selling transactions in the procurement of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina (Persero) in 2011-2021.

There were four people who were examined as witnesses, namely the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) for the period 2014-2017 Dwi Soetjipto; Director of PT PLN for the period 2011-2014 Nur Pamudji; Board of Commissioners of PT Pertamina 2010-2013 Evita Herawati Legowo; and IPB Lecturer Anny Ratnawati.

"The witnesses were present and confirmed, among other things, related to the sale and purchase transaction process in the procurement of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at PT PTMN," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri told reporters, Friday, July 1.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is currently investigating a corruption case involving the purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina. A number of witnesses have been examined, including employees of PT Pertamina.

Later, after the evidence is collected, the announcement of the suspects in the alleged corruption case at the state-owned company will be carried out immediately. This presumptuous practice occurred around 2011-2012.

In an effort to investigate this alleged corruption, the KPK will summon a number of witnesses. The goal is to collect evidence.
