In Loving Memory Tjahjo Kumolo: Wants To Die In Duty And A Coffee-Sate Lover
JAKARTA - His speech was chanted slowly. His words were arranged so neatly with a reassuring smile expression. Straightforwardly and clearly, one by one the complicated issues that the media brought before him were answered.
Yes, who doesn't know the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Tjahjo Kumolo. In his duties as a minister when he was invited to the DPR RI Building, Tjahjo never escaped the media coverage.
His face was full of calm despite being bombarded with a myriad of questions from the media crew. Sometimes diplomatic, sometimes throwing jokes at the media, sometimes with the wings of a senior politician.
There are thousands of memories left by the late Tjahjo, both for his party colleagues in the PDIP, the ministry and the media crew.
The Director General of Dukcapil, Ministry of Home Affairs and General Chairperson of Korpri, Zudan Arif Fakrullah, shared one of his memories with the late Tjahjo, who passed away today.
Zudan said that Tjahjo, who also appointed him as the General Chair of Korpri, had admitted that he wanted to die while carrying out his duties.
"In the past he had the desire to die while on duty. Goodbye Mr. Tjahjo Kumolo, my leader, my teacher, and my mentor," Zudan told reporters, Friday, July 1.
During his duties as Minister of Home Affairs from 2014 to the current Menpan-RB, Tjahjo was seen by Zudan as a good person.
"He is my teacher, my political mentor and gave me many opportunities and opportunities to develop, work and be creative," said Zudan.
Member of the DPR RI from the PDIP faction, Junimart Girsang, also remembers the figure of Tjahjo during his life. For him, Tjahjo is a relaxed person in carrying out activities.
Junimart remembers the moment with Tjahjo during a PDIP visit to the region. The former secretary general of PDIP never fails to find his favorite culinary delights, satay and coffee.
"When I go to every area I always look for satay and coffee. Coffee is never separated from him. It is a memory and part of his intake," said Junimart.
Tjahjo's message that Junimart always remembers is a smart and polite political attitude that must always be guarded by politicians.
"One thing I remember from him that politics is intelligent, politics is to educate all people. If someone says politics is dirty, it means that you always have to learn. That's what I have never forgotten about him, behave intelligently and politely," he explained. .
It was previously reported that Menpan RB Tjahjo Kumolo died at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday afternoon, at 11.10 WIB, after undergoing intensive treatment at the hospital since mid-June.
Tjahjo Kumolo will be buried militarily at the Kalibata Main National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU). Before being buried, it is planned that Tjahjo's body will be buried at his official residence, Jalan Widya Chandra, South Jakarta.
