Mataram Kejari Investigate Misappropriation Of BLUD Funds For North Lombok Hospital
MATARAM - The Mataram District Attorney, West Nusa Tenggara, is investigating the alleged misuse of funds from the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) of the North Lombok Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
Mataram Kejari Intelligence Section Head Ida Bagus Putu Widnyana said the misuse of BLUD funds was related to the payment of legal consultant services.
"The period of alleged abuse is from 2016 to 2021," said Widnyana, quoted by Antara, Friday, July 1.
The work contract for the legal consulting services, he explained, was given individually to a lawyer. In the contract agreement, the lawyer receives a payment of IDR 12.5 million per month.
If it is calculated in the last 6 years, the government has set aside a budget to pay for legal consulting services worth Rp. 900 million.
Widyana also confirmed that previous investigations by the intelligence team had found indications of unlawful acts (PMH) and state losses.
The PMH indication, he explained, was found in the contract mechanism run by the government with the lawyers.
One of the problems arises in the appointment process. There are also indications of abuse of the function of lawyers as legal consultants. This is indicated not to run in accordance with the work contract.
"So, because there is potential for PMH and state losses, the investigation is now continuing and being handed over to the special criminal sector," he said.
In the investigation process in the special criminal field, Widnyana ensured that the prosecutor had now scheduled a series of clarifications and strengthening of evidence.
"The language of the investigation is deeper than the PMH indications that have been obtained previously at the intelligence investigation stage," he said.
