BANDUNG - The West Java Illegal Sweeping Clearing Task Force (Saber Pungli) recommended the West Java Provincial Government to temporarily suspend the Head of SMKN 5 Bandung on suspicion of extortion.

"So, Saber Pungli has carried out a case title related to the results of the examination at SMKN 5 Bandung," said Yudi in Bandung, West Java, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, June 29.
In addition to the matter of temporary suspension, Yudi said that his party had delegated the title of the case to the West Java Inspectorate related to the alleged extortion case at the school.
"Delegated to the West Java Inspectorate for a comprehensive financial management examination," he said.
During the arrest operation, the Saber Pungli Team said that it had arrested five people, namely DN as the principal, the deputy principal with the initials EB, TTG, and AT as contract employees, and TS as the operator.
Regarding the title of the case, his party has just recommended the witness to be temporarily suspended for DN, while the other four people can still carry out their activities as usual.
"From the results of the examination, there may be permanent sanctions if they are proven," he said.
Previously, the West Java Extortion Saber Team conducted a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Wednesday (22/6) at SMKN 5 Bandung. The OTT started with the parents of students who reported allegations of extortion at the school during the admission of new students (PPDB).
After visiting the location, the Saber Extortion Team found more than IDR 40 million in cash. The money is thought to have come from the parents' deposit for building donations and for scouting activities.
