PDIP Criticized About Weak Supervision Of Holywings Permit, Deputy Governor Of DKI: Limited Apparatus

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, responded to criticism from the PDIP faction of the DPRD DKI, which said that the supervision of the DKI Provincial Government was weak because the violation of the Holywing permit was only recently revealed.

Riza did not dismiss the criticism. Riza admitted that the supervision was weak due to the limited number of officers. Meanwhile, there are many places of business in Jakarta that are monitored.

"We have a limited number of officers, the amount of funding, and time constraints," said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, June 29.

According to him, building Jakarta is not only the task of the DKI Provincial Government. The community must also synergize with the government in enforcing existing regulations and reporting irregularities.

"All findings from the community in any form will be very valuable and useful. This is where we can solve problems," said Riza.

"Not only here (Holywings), but also in other cafes that have not met the requirements that have not been completed. For people who know about this, immediately tell us, we will follow up," he continued.

Previously, the chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Gembong Warsono, saw that there was a weakness in the supervision of business licensing assignments from the DKI Provincial Government (Pemrov). This is known from the permit revocation process for all Holywings Jakarta outlets.

The license revocation was carried out after it was revealed that there was a violation of the business license from Holywings after a follow-up check was carried out on the case of promos for free alcohol drinks for people named Muhammad and Maria.

"The official must supervise the violation. It means that if it happens, it means that the supervision is weak. Because the supervision is weak, then a violation will occur," said Gembong to reporters, Tuesday, June 28.

In fact, according to Gembong, the DKI Provincial Government should have been able to detect the Holywings violation, which apparently did not have a bar business certificate from the start without the promo case.

"There are business activities that are not in accordance with the permit, it means there is a violation. There have been violations for so many months, how come there has been action? It's already crowded, it's gone viral, the Provincial Government has just acted, so the actions taken by the DKI Provincial Government are when there is a commotion in the community. Even though it happened If there is no commotion, maybe the Provincial Government will remain silent," said Gembong.
