Teenagers Insult Prophet Muhammad When Drunk, Sahroni Asks Police To Immediately Investigate

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI Ahmad Sahroni asked the police to investigate the actions of a group of teenagers who were considered to have insulted the Prophet Muhammad.

The request was submitted by Sahroni through his personal Instagram account on Tuesday, June 28. The upload also includes a video containing the alleged blasphemy action.

"I ask the Police to immediately conduct an investigation into this video. Destroy the blasphemers so that future generations of the nation do not become BROKEN," wrote Sahroni as quoted by VOI, Wednesday, June 29.

The video contains several teenagers who are drinking alcoholic beverages while accompanied by religious music.

Then, to the accompaniment of the song, a voice was heard asking them to pray. Until finally, two teenagers wearing black clothes raised their hands as if they were praying.

In fact, one of the other teenage girls made a statement that was considered blasphemy. He said the drunken acts they did were also carried out by the Prophet Muhammad. This he did as he raised his glass containing alcoholic beverages.

"Eh Prophet Muhammad was also drunk," said the woman in the video.

However, until this news was revealed, the police, in this case the Polda Metro Jaya, who confirmed the matter had not yet provided an answer.
