Disbursing IDR42.72 Billion, Paraga Artamida Increases Share Ownership In BSD Property Company Owned By Conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja
JAKARTA - The controlling shareholder of the Sinar Mas property developer, owned by the late Eka Tjipta Widjaja conglomerate, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE), namely PT Paraga Artamida, has again increased its share ownership in the issuer.
Two days earlier, BSDE President Commissioner Muktar Widjaja, who is none other than Eka Tjipta Widjaja's son, bought 5,014,500 BSDE shares with an average purchase price of Rp 899.99 per share.
In an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted on Tuesday, June 28, Paraga purchased 47,519,400 BSDE shares with an average purchase price of Rp899.17 per share.
Thus, the total funds disbursed for this transaction reached Rp42.72 billion. The share purchase transaction was carried out on June 24, 2022.
"The purpose of the investment transaction, direct ownership status," wrote Paraga's management.
Meanwhile, after the BSDE share purchase transaction, Paraga Artamida's ownership in BSDE reached 7,131,897,164 shares from the previous 7,036,858,364 shares.
For information, BSDE's shareholders include PT Paraga Arta Mida at 33.28 percent, PT Ekacentra Usahamaju at 25.63 percent, the public at 39.87% and treasury shares at 1.22 percent.
