Jusuf Kalla Prays For Tjahjo Kumolo For A Speedy Recovery
JAKARTA - The 10th and 12th Vice Presidents Jusuf Kalla offered prayers for the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo, who was sick, so that he would recover quickly.
"On this occasion, I, as chairman of the Indonesian Mosque Council, offer my prayers to Mr. Tjahjo Kumolo, who is now being treated (so that) he can recover and can return to normal (healthy)," said JK in his statement quoted by Antara, Monday, June 27.
JK considered Tjahjo Kumolo to be a good person personally and diligent in carrying out government duties, so he hoped for the best prayers for the recovery of the PDI-P politician.
"He is a very good person in person and in government. We all pray that he can recover soon. God willing, we all hope that it will be like that," he added.
Tjahjo Kumolo is reported to be undergoing intensive treatment at a hospital due to an infection in the lungs. During Tjahjo's illness, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD was appointed by President Joko Widodo to serve as the ad interim Menpan RB.
"I, as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs was appointed by the President to be the ad interim Minister of PAN RB. Mr. Tjahjo is sick and is in intensive care," said Mahfud in his statement.
As the ad interim Menpan RB, Mahfud has also chaired national coordination meetings (Rakornas) and provided guidance regarding non-state civil servants (ASN), honorary staff, and outsourcing.
