JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said the world's eyes were on Jakarta and Indonesia because of the electric car racing event, Formula E, which took place on Saturday (4/6).
"We just finished a Formula E 'world championship' in Jakarta with great success," said Anies on the eve of the 495th anniversary of DKI Jakarta at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Saturday, June 25 evening.

Wearing a beige suit combined with jeans, Anies on the main stage inside JIS explained Formula E Jakarta which was considered a success.
Anies said the international racing event was one of the indicators that made Jakarta a global city because it was able to hold international-standard celebrations.
It is scheduled, Jakarta will host Formula E for two more seasons, namely in 2023-2024.
On the eve of the peak of DKI's Anniversary, Anies also confirmed Jakarta as a global city.
