It Turns Out That Kit Harrington Was The One Who Came Up With The Idea For Jon Snow's Spinoff On HBO
JAKARTA - It's no secret that HBO is working on a spinoff from the Game of Thrones series. This is further reinforced by Emilia Clarke's statement that Kit Harrington will play this series.
It was revealed that the spin-off idea was proposed by Jon Snow's actor, Kit Harrington. The actor is known to meet the creator of Game of Thrones, George RR Martin to demonstrate this idea.
George RR Martin shared this story in his latest blog post. He called the title while the spin off was Snow.
“Yes, it was Kit Harrington who brought us the idea,” wrote George RR Martin on Thursday, June 23.
"I can't name the author of the series because it hasn't been officially announced yet, but Kit also gave this name, his own team, and they're great," he said.
The Jon Snow spinoff isn't the only project HBO is working on. They will present the first spin off series, House of the Dragon, which tells the story of the Targaryen clan. Then they also prepared Tales of Dunk and Egg.
“There are four spinoff series currently in development at HBO. Three of them have been leaked. Ten Thousan Ships is about Nymeria, Sea Snake or Nine Voyages with Bruno Heller and Dunk & Egg,” he explained.
"Snow has been in development for a long time but for some reason it hasn't been leaked and announced until now," he continued.
Reportedly, Jon Snow's spin-off will tell the character's journey after the end of Game of Thrones. It was then that Jon Snow realized his identity as Aegon Targaryn, the heir to the Iron Throne.
