Accompanying Jakarta Anniversary Celebration, Bank DKI Performs Digital Banking Innovation

JAKARTA - BUMD Bank DKI also accompanied the celebration of the 495th anniversary of the City of Jakarta by committing to support the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government program through various innovations in digital products and services.

"Accompanying the momentum of DKI Jakarta's 495th anniversary, Bank DKI is actively conducting digital innovation as a foundation for future growth," said Director of Technology and Operations of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono in his statement, Friday, June 24.

Amirul said, so far Bank DKI has carried out digitalization which is considered an enabler of the company's business transformation, from a saving bank (product centric) to a transaction bank (customer centric).

He gave an example, Bank DKI has launched JakCard as a prepaid smart card which is used as a means of payment for various transactions at merchants who have collaborated with Bank DKI, including as e-tickets for various modes of integrated public transportation in DKI Jakarta.

"With the spirit of collaboration, people who want to use public transportation such as TransJakarta, Micro Trans, Jak Lingko Angkot, MRT Jakarta, LRT, to airport/Railink trains can already use JakCard," he said.

Amirul continued, the JakCard can also be used in various tourist areas belonging to the DKI Provincial Government such as the Ragunan Wildlife Park, Monas, Planetarium, Ancol and various museums.

Amirul said Bank DKI also presented the JakOne Mobile application as a digital banking solution for user customers to create a more personal transaction experience.

The features available in JakOne Mobile range from paying various bills and online shopping, Scan by QRIS transactions, top up electronic money, giving alms/donating to others to securing emergency funds through opening deposits, to opening savings accounts online.

"With JakOne Mobile's attractive and intuitive UI/UX display, we hope to meet customer expectations, especially the millennial generation who want easy digital banking services, anywhere and anytime," said Amirul.
