Ships Delay For Hours, Erick Thohir Is Considered Reluctant To Fix Public Transportation Delays, KNPI Chairman: Busy Copras-Capres Only
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) Haris Pertama criticized the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir for fixing regulations on the departure schedule of passenger ships which are often delayed or delayed.
Haris said Erick Thohir was too busy with the presidential candidate to try to increase his electability so that he did not reach the problems experienced by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Pelindo) and PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (PT Pelni).
"Minister of SOEs @erickthohir is busy with COPRAS CAPRES," said Haris on his Twitter account, @knpiharis, Thursday, June 23.
In his upload on social media, Haris also showed a delayed boat ticket. The ship departed from Bakauheni Port, Merak.
According to Haris, the problem of passenger ship delays, such as airline passenger delays in Indonesia, is a chronic problem. Even the delay time is sometimes intolerable so that it often causes passenger disappointment.
However, instead of highlighting the problem until it is resolved, Erick Thohir actually considers other matters more important to take precedence.
The former Jakarta Islamic Student Association (HMI) quipped that Erick Thohir preferred to make toilets free at all gas stations because of the concern that the SOE boss would charge fees for accessing gas station toilets.
"Take care of ship departures, which often disappoint consumers, don't just take care of the toilet," said Haris.
