Papuan Police Chief Monitors Re-enactment Of The KKB Assault Case That Killed Bripda Diego
JAYAPURA - Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri monitors a reenactment of the attack incident that occurred in Napua, Jayawijaya Regency which resulted in the death of Brigadier Diego Rumaropen.
In the attack, two organic firearms belonging to the National Police were taken away by perpetrators suspected of being KKB Papua.
The reenactment took place under tight guard and was attended by former Danki D Brimob Wamena AKP R, as well as AM a civilian who asked AKP R to shoot his cow.
The re-enactment was also witnessed by the Director of Criminal Investigation at the Papua Police, Kombes Faizal Rahmadani and the Head of Propam, Kombes Gustav Urbinas.
The Papuan Police Chief emphasized that the re-enactment was carried out to ascertain the position of the witnesses when the incident occurred.
"The re-enactment was carried out to confirm the position of the witnesses so that investigators could estimate the distance and others because it could be missed during the TKP (the crime scene)," said Fakhiri, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 22.
Inspector General Fakhiri previously met with the parents and family of the late Brigadier General Diego Rumaropen. He also visited the headquarters of the Wamena Brimob D Company.
The incident of the attack on Brimob members in Napua, which is located about five kilometers from Wamena, began when AKP R received a call from a resident with the initials asking for help to shoot his cow in Napua.
From that request, AKP R together with the victim and a member in charge of driving the vehicle, Saturday (18/6) to the location until a few moments later an attack occurred.
Two organic Polri firearms were taken by the perpetrators of the Nduga KKB member led by Egianus Kogoya, namely the AK101 type and the SSG08 type rifle (sniper).
