Being Victims Of Sexual Harassment At The Train Station, Vocational School Students In Jakarta Shouted But Repeatedly In The Series
JAKARTA - A grade 2 SMK student with the initials BCP was reported to be a victim of sexual harassment on an electric train (KRL) circuit. The victim admitted to being repeatedly harassed by the perpetrator on a moving train.
The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of the East Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Ahsanul Muqaffi explained that previously the victim and perpetrator met at the Istiqlal Mosque, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta.
At that time, the perpetrator said that he could reveal the victim's aura. On that occasion, the victim was given drinking water by the perpetrator.
The conversation continued until finally the two of them, the victim and perpetrator, walked towards Banteng Square, then continued on foot to Monas. After leaving Monas, the two took a bus to Rajawali Station.
"Well, at Rajawali Station, the perpetrator's hand suddenly entered the victim's shirt. There was harassment," said AKBP Ahsanul, Wednesday, June 22.
Feeling harassed, the victim immediately screamed. Apparently, the screams of the victim did not stop the perpetrator from harassing him. The man resumed his actions because at Rajawali Station it was quiet at that time. Perpetrators can move freely.
The KRL train heading to Bekasi arrived, the victim and the perpetrator entered the circuit. And again, the perpetrator re-launched his action in the train he was riding.
"Right in Jatinegara, the act was repeated again. Suddenly the perpetrator's hand entered the victim's shirt, the harassment occurred again," continued Ahsanul.
When the train passed at Buaran Station, still on Ahsanul, one of the security guards reprimanded the perpetrator.
The perpetrator and the victim were removed from the station and secured by security, to be taken to the Duren Sawit Police Station.
"They (perpetrators and victims) do not know what the reason (for sexual harassment) is, we are still investigating," he said.
In his depraved act, the perpetrator only argued that he could open the victim's aura so that the victim was deceived.
"Essentially, the perpetrator argued as if he could reveal the victim's aura so that the victim was interested in following the perpetrator's wishes," he said.
Furthermore, AKBP Ahsanul appealed to the public not to travel alone.
"Don't travel alone, try to go with family and friends to avoid unwanted things. Such as cases of sexual harassment that occurred at Rajawali and Jatinegara stations," he concluded.
