MotoGP Team Boss From Malaysia Doesn't Want To Hurry Choose A Rider: There Are Some Young And Experienced
JAKARTA - The boss of RNF Racing, Razlan Razali, said that he did not want to rush in determining the composition of the riders for MotoGP 2023. According to him, there are many interesting options available in the market.
RNF Racing is unlikely to continue working with Andrea Dovizioso. Likewise with Darryn Binder who has not yet satisfied his appearance.
Razlan said, there are several young riders with a lot of experience that they can attract for MotoGP 2023.
"There will be more riders than motorbikes, we just have to wait and see what happens. There are still some young and experienced MotoGP riders. Even young riders with five or six years of experience," said the Malaysian MotoGP team boss.
Razlan said that several driver managers had contacted them. Especially after knowing that RNF Racing will work with Aprilia for next season.
However, the RNF could not decide for themselves considering their status as only a satellite team.
"Several rider managers contacted us and Aprilia when we announced a factory change. In the end, we are just a private (satellite) team. We are not a point of contact for newcomers, but also for those who are afraid of their place in MotoGP," he explained.
Some riders are currently "looking for work". Call it Alex Rins and Joan Mir because Suzuki Ecstar withdrew from MotoGP.
Then there is Pol Espargaro who was probably kicked out by Honda. There is also the name Miguel Oliveira who soon parted ways with KTM.
