Joint Team Secures Students Who Are Caught Alone In Hotel Room
JAKARTA - A joint team of four institutions from Banyumas Regency, Central Java, captured nine unofficial couples during a raid targeting a number of boarding houses in Purwokerto, Sunday, June 19.
The joint team consisted of joint personnel from the Civil Service Police Unit, the Banyumas Regency National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Banyumas City Police, and the Military Police Detachment IV/1 Purwokerto. North Purwokerto.
In the boarding house which has joined the cheap hotel service chain from India, officers found seven unofficial couples in their respective rooms. In fact, some of them are still students.
Related to these findings, the Banyumas Regency Satpol PP officers immediately carried out guidance and confiscated identity cards (KTP) from all the unofficial couples. The KTP can be taken at the Banyumas Regency Satpol PP Office accompanied by their respective parents.
In addition, all residents of the boarding house were asked to undergo a urine test held by the Banyumas BNNK.
After conducting a raid at the place, joint officers visited a boarding house on Jalan Damri, Karangklesem Village, South Purwokerto District, and found two unofficial couples.
At that place, the Banyumas BNNK officer also tested the urine of all residents of the boarding house.
Meanwhile, when holding a similar activity at one of the song guides located on Jalan S. Parman, Purwokerto, and the song guide center on Jalan Suparjo Rustam, Sokaraja, the officers did not find an unofficial partner.
However, all occupants of the two song guides must undergo a urine test held by the Banyumas BNNK.
Regarding the implementation of the raid, Banyumas Regency Satpol PP Head Setia Rahendra said the activity was held on the basis of reports from the public related to the presence of a number of boarding houses that were allegedly not in accordance with their designation.
According to him, this was proven in one of the boarding houses located in Karangwangkal Village.
"However, after we arrived, on average almost all rooms, the occupants were in pairs, unofficial couples, young and old. Unable to prove a marriage certificate, it means an unofficial couple," he said.
He said his party had confiscated ID cards or other identity cards belonging to the unofficial couple.
Regarding the existence of boarding houses which have been converted into cheap hotels, Setia admits that this is homework that must be coordinated with other related parties.
Meanwhile, BNNK Banyumas Community Empowerment and Prevention Coordinator Wicky Sri Erlangga Aditya said that in total, from the four locations of the raids, there were 79 people who underwent urine tests.
In this case, the boarding house located in Karangwangkal recorded 23 people consisting of 12 men and 11 women, the boarding house located in Karangklesem recorded 32 people consisting of 14 men and 18 women.
Meanwhile, at the Jalan S. Parman song guide there were 11 women, while at the Jalan Suparjo Rustam song guide there were 13 people consisting of 1 male and 12 female.
"From the results of urine tests on 79 people, 74 people were declared negative and 5 people were positive for Benzo (BZO) or psychotropic drugs. Those who were positive were screened and given drug rehabilitation services if needed," said Wicky.
