Effendi Gazali: After The National Working Meeting Of Nasdem Anies Baswedan Did Not Become A Broken Kite, Ganjar Pranowo And Andika Also Benefited
JAKARTA - According to Effendi Gazali, a communicator at the Salemba School, he considers the Nasdem National Working Meeting to end well. It means a happy ending and everyone wins. Anies Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo and Andika Perkasa are predicted to increase their electability.
"Anies is no longer a break-up kit. It is clear that there are parties planning to carry him. Andika is now officially in the sights of a party. Usually, his electability can increase several times. Ganjar even gets the opportunity to show that he is loyal to PDIP. Paloh is spontaneous and strong," said Effendi Gazali, a communicator who graduated from UI and Cornell University.
Iwel Sastra, a researcher from the Final Point Institute, agrees that Surya Paloh's speech deserves a closer look at it point by point. He noted: "Surya Paloh stated that he was waiting for a good day to choose one name from the three recommendations that came from below. This means that the National Working Meeting itself is flexible in terms of political dynamics."
Meanwhile, a communicator at Airlangga University and the Surabaya Communication Study Center, Suko Widodo, emphasized how calm Surya Paloh was in stating that there was no ranking among the three recommended presidential candidates. "On the one hand, this is the strength of Nasdem. He is not tied to who will be superior in the course of time," said Suko.
However, Emrus Sihombing, a communicator at Pelita Harapan University, feels that there is a critical note on the other side. "The three candidates, I make sure are not of the same quality. They should be ranked based on the criteria that have been published beforehand. Based on that ranking, it is determined who has the highest quality."
Hasrullah, a communicator at Hasanuddin University, also showed a bit of disappointment. "Unfortunately no names from Eastern Indonesia were included. If you want good intentions, recommend four names. One of them is a presidential candidate from Eastern Indonesia," added Hasrullah.
On the other hand, Muhammad Iqbal, a communicator at the State University of Jember, felt goosebumps when he saw the speech of the National Working Meeting participants when Surya Paloh mentioned Anies Baswedan's name. Cak Iqbal stated: "This proves that all outstanding regional heads deserve to be nominated by political parties. Don't dwell on the general chairman himself."
Effendi Gazali suggested that Nasdem should accept the critical notes of communicators. Although this does not reduce the impression of the happy ending of the National Coordination Meeting. In this unique atmosphere, General Andika is relatively the most benefited. "Now General Andika has officially received a spot light. It means that now there is Prabowo's competitor, if the people want a civil-military or military-civilian combination," he concluded.
Although three names have been recommended by the Nasdem National Working Meeting, this is still not final. Is it Anies Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo or Andika Perkasa who will be carried by Nasdem in the 2024 presidential election later. We are waiting for the next surprise from the party made by Surya Paloh.
