Construction Of Polres, Polsek, And Special Mobile Brigade Units In The Capital Of The Archipelago To Begin Next Year
JAKARTA - The National Police will build a Polres, Polsek to a special Brimob unit for the Nusantara Capital (IKN) East Kalimantan. However, the construction will only be carried out in 2023 because currently it is still in the process of cooking.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, confirmed that the construction would be carried out next year. This is a form of preparation for the National Police ahead of the democratic party in 2024.
"(Development of Polres, Polsek in IKN) next year. This year (2022) we are still working on everything, all proposals. Next year we have to be prepared, because in 2024 it is hoped that we will gradually start having offices at IKN," Dedi told reporters at IKN. Funbike Semarak Bhayangkara event, Sunday, June 19.
Dedi also said that at this time, the National Police had prepared a concept for the construction of a special IKN Polres. In addition to the Polres-Polsek facilities, said Dedi, previously the Brimob members had been confirmed who would later be stationed in the new capital city of Indonesia.
"The concept of a special IKN Polres is being proposed. Including the National Police Chief (General Listyo Sigit) some time ago has confirmed the strengthening of Brimob personnel," he explained.
Later, continued Dedi, Brimob in the Indonesian capital will be under the direct instruction of one of the Pati Bintang 1. Dedi hopes that the inauguration and placement of Brimob in IKN can complete the security system and facilities at IKN.
In addition, Dedi explained that with the deployment of Brimob, the IKN project is expected to run according to the government's plan.
"Later it will be led by Pati Bintang 1 in order to secure the strengthening of IKN, so that IKN really fits the timeline that has been set by the government," he said.
