Waskita Karya Books A Contract Value Of IDR 8.13 Trillion
JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk recorded a new contract value (NKB) as of May 2022 of Rp. 8.13 trillion, an increase of 321.43 percent compared to the same period last year which amounted to Rp. 2.23 trillion.
"NKB's income comes from private projects by 53.23 percent, the government by 35.98 percent, and the business development of the company's subsidiaries by 7.84 percent," Waskita Karya Corporate Secretary Novianto Ari Nugroho said in a statement to the media, Saturday, June 18.
Based on the project type segmentation, the NKB consists of the infrastructure connectivity segment by 40.84 percent, the company's subsidiaries by 7.84 percent, the building by 22.55 percent, the EPC by 7.82 percent, and the Water Resources (SDA) segment by 8.19 percent.
Novianto said that the company continues to focus on running its operational business. NKB itself to date has reached 27.1 percent of new contracts in 2022 with a target of IDR 30 trillion.
Waskita Karya just held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) this weekend. Through the meeting, the company obtained approval from the shareholders on the ten proposed meeting agendas.
The ten agenda items include the submission of the annual report, the report on the supervisory duties of the board of commissioners and the ratification of the consolidated financial statements for the 2021 financial year.
The Company obtained approval to obtain loans and funding from bank and non-bank financial institutions and the public with government guarantees based on the provisions of the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 211/PMK.08/2020 concerning Procedures for Providing Government Guarantees for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in the framework of implementing the National Economic Recovery (PEN) program.
Furthermore, the company also reports the use of the proceeds from the additional capital with Pre-emptive Rights (HMETD) through the 2021 Limited Public Offering II.
