Formerly Honorary At The Health Center Without Salary, Now Dea Woman From Ende NTT Successfully Becomes An Airport Employee Thanks To A Pre-Employment Card
BOGOR - Pudensia alias Dea, a resident of Ende, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), said that she succeeded in becoming an airport employee from previously being an honorary employee without a salary at a health center. He got this new job after joining the Pre-Employment Card Program.
"I started attending the pre-employment when I was still an honorary at the puskesmas. We in NTT were not paid a salary," said Dea, during a question and answer session with President Joko Widodo at the "#KitaPrakarya Gathering" event at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC) Bogor Regency, Java. West, Antara, Friday, June 17th.
Dea admitted that she knew about the program since the first wave of acceptance from the internet, but it was not easy for her to qualify as a Pre-Employment Card participant. He just passed as a participant in the 13th batch of admissions.
Then, he said, he diligently participated in pre-employment training through the career platform.mu while a participant, even though he had an unstable internet connection in his village.
"There are three types of training. After participating, thank God at that time I was received at a remote airport in NTT, Sabu Raijua Airport," he said.
After completing a question and answer session with President Jokowi, Dea was then promised a laptop as a gift, according to his request, on the grounds that Dea's laptop was damaged, while the other three alumni of the Pre-Employment Card Program who also asked questions with the president were given gifts, one bicycle each.
Meanwhile, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto in the same place stated that one of the achievements of the current Pre-Employment Card program is that 30 percent of the participants are no longer unemployed or have worked and opened their own businesses.
"As many as 30 percent of those who were previously unemployed are now working or in business. As many as 66 percent use pre-employment certification to get a job," he said.
According to him, the program with 12.8 million participants is the most massive government to people (G to P) payment compared to other countries. This makes Indonesia the most prepared country in the UNESCO forum, regarding digital information.
"At UNESCO, regarding digital information, from almost all countries that have explained, the most prepared, God willing, is Indonesia. The Prime Minister of the Netherlands also wants to see the Pre-Employment Card Program," said Airlangga.
The "#KitaPrakerja" Gathering was attended by around 8,000 alumni of the Pre-Employment Card Program. Also present were Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah and Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil.
