Pre-employment Card Recipients Since April 2020 Have Reached 12.8 Million
JAKARTA - Deputy for the Coordination of the Digital Economy, Employment, and MSMEs at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Rudy Salahuddin, said that the Pre-Employment Card program has reached 12.8 million participants since it was launched in April 2020.
All of the participants came from 34 provinces and 15 regencies/cities in Indonesia, as well as various outermost, underdeveloped, and frontier (3T) regions that had never been touched by the training.
"This is thanks to the end-to-end digital transformation carried out by the Pre-Employment Card Team," said Rudy, quoted from Antara, Thursday, June 16.
Thus, he said, the entire process in the Pre-Employment Card, from registration, training, to providing incentives, was carried out digitally.
Currently, according to him, there is already an extraordinary ecosystem in the Pre-Employment Card as well as collaboration and synergy with all existing ecosystems.
Rudy explained, the ecosystem in question is the existence of six digital platforms, six payment partners, four job portals, eight educational institutions, 171 training institutions, and more than 1,000 active training in the Pre-Employment Card program.
Seeing the extraordinary achievements and impact of the Pre-Employment Card program, President Joko Widodo also requested the holding of a Pre-Employment Meeting which will be attended by various Pre-Employment Card Alumni.
"This event will be held on June 17, 2022 at 14.00 WIB at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC)," he added.
According to him, the event will involve 8,000 Pre-Employment Card alumni from all over Indonesia.
From this event, it is hoped that more people will be able to take advantage of the Pre-Employment Card program.
