His Friend's Motorbike Was Stolen In Medan, Babe Cabita Held A Competition With A Prize Of Rp. 15 Million

MEDAN - Komika Babe Cabita held a competition with a prize of Rp. 15 million related to the theft of a friend's motorbike.

Babe Cabitan announced the contest on his Instagram account because he was upset that his friend's motorbike had been stolen by a thief while parking at a cafe on Jalan Monginsidi, Medan City, Sunday, June 12.

In his upload, Babe Cabita also included CCTV footage showing the seconds the perpetrator took the motorbike away. At the time of the incident, Babe Cabita was also known to be at the scene.

"It happened on Jalan Mongonsidi Medan, a 2013 Honda Beat motorcycle, BK 5417 RAL," Babe Cabita wrote on the babecabiita Instagram account.

To catch the thief, Babe promised a reward of Rp. 15 million for those who could provide information about the thief.

"Who can provide information on the whereabouts of this thief, for sure, I will give Rp. 15 million as a gift. Double the price of the motorbike," he wrote.

The contest was held because Babe Cabita said he wanted to stay in touch with the perpetrators. According to him, he needed to meet the perpetrator more than the motorbike.

"I need the person more for the relationship than the motorbike," he wrote.

Separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Medan Police, Kompol Teuku Fathir Mustafa said that the motorcycle theft case had been reported to the police.

"It has been reported to the Medan Baru Police. The police are in charge," said Commissioner Fathir, confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, June 14.

Kompol Fathir explained that the police are currently investigating the case. In addition, the police are also looking for the perpetrators.

"Officers have conducted crime scene investigations and examined witnesses. The perpetrators are also being hunted," he asserted.
