Kemendikbudristek Asks All Education Stakeholders To Support The Implementation Of PTM 100 Percent
JAKARTA - Secretary General (Sesjen) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) Suharti appealed to all policy makers, especially the education sector, to support the restoration of education services by immediately opening face-to-face learning (PTM) in schools.
"I invite all webinar participants, especially from local governments (local governments), education units, and students and their families to work together to restore education services so that we can rise up to catch up due to the COVID-19 pandemic," he said in a webinar held monitored in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, June 14.
Several aspects that need to be considered in learning recovery are encouraging safe 100 percent face-to-face learning participation, learning recovery, the use of information and communication technology in education services, as well as support for local governments, education units, and students who are more severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 19.
"In an effort to restore the condition of education services and restore the learning process after the COVID-19 pandemic, a structured, systematic and massive strategy and plan for the recovery of educational services is needed involving various parties who have the resources to encourage the recovery of learning," he continued.
Suharti explained that education during the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out in three forms, namely full distance learning, limited face-to-face learning, and mixed learning.
Efforts made by the government in restoring education services from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, namely adjusting learning policies during the pandemic through a 4 Ministerial Decree, establishing an Emergency Curriculum, preparing an Independent Curriculum as an effort to restore learning, adjusting the Regular BOS and BOP policies, as well as Affirmation BOS and BOS Performance.
In addition, providing assistance in the form of ICT assistance, internet quotas, wage subsidies, Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) facilities, increasing the capacity of educators and education staff in facilitating learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, both distance learning, safe face-to-face , as well as online and offline mixed learning.
Furthermore, providing learning platforms and resources such as online learning platforms in collaboration with the private sector, digital teaching materials, independent modules, Learning From Home programs on TVRI and TV Education, as well as preparing national support programs such as the Teaching Campus program involving 38,000 students, Community Service Program Thematic COVID-19, 15,000 National COVID-19 Volunteers, and 185,000 Behavior Change Ambassadors from students, teachers and the community.
