During the fire, the East Kotawaringin Regency Fire and Rescue Service deployed seven fleets with 105 personnel. They were assisted by firefighters from BPBD, PMI and PDAM Tirta Mentaya Sampit. As long as the fire was still raging, officers from the East Kotawaringin Regency Fire and Rescue Service continued to put out the fire that burned the contents of the warehouse. Monday afternoon, the fire was completely extinguished, so the firefighters left the location. The duration of the fire was due to a lot of flammable items in the building, such as plastic, zinc, hair oil, perfume, food and others. As a result, the officers had to work on paper to extinguish the fire in the warehouse because the fire continued to burn until midnight. The fire scorched the 26x50 meter warehouse containing grocery items and building materials. In addition, one resident's house burned down, and two other buildings were affected by the fire.

Consisting of a warehouse loss containing Rp. 15 billion of goods, a house of Rp. 200 million, a building damaged by 5 percent of Rp. 5 million and a 10 percent damaged building by Rp. 10 million.
