Harisun said that production from farmers in the Makassar Bulog working area has been running smoothly so far.
"The rice supply at the Makassar Bulog has reached 32 thousand tons for 64 months of stock resistance," Harisun said as quoted by Antara, Saturday, June 11.
According to him, Bulog's role in procuring rice or basic necessities according to policies set by the government also plays a role in national mobility for food needs in the field.
"So if there is a government instruction to distribute national mobility rice, it will be sent to designated areas," he said.
This was done well to cover food shortages in certain areas. Both for market operations and for natural disaster relief.
