JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo met the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Indonesia, Park Tae-sung. In addition to discussing investment collaborations, the two also briefly talked about K-Pop.

In the casual conversation session, Ganjar revealed that young people in Indonesia are following world trends, including the development of music from South Korea, aka K-Pop.

Ganjar then said that the young people who were in the room with him at that time were also fond of K-Pop music trends. A number of popular K-Pop bands that are loved by young people in the country are called Ganjar.

"These children are K-Pop fans. I think they are ARMY, BTS fans, and BLACKPINK fans," he said.

Ganjar also wanted to know if Park Tae-sung was also a big fan of BTS, known as ARMY.
