PermataBank And CIMB Niaga Lead Credit Distribution To Mandala Multifinance Rp1.2 Trillion
JAKARTA - PT Bank Permata TBK (BNLI) or PermataBank and PT CIMB Niaga Tbk (BNGA) became the Mandated Lead Arranger and Bookrunner (MLAB) in providing syndicated credit facilities for PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk (MFIN). In this Rp 1.2 trillion, PermataBank has a portion of Rp 350 billion, while CIMB Niaga Rp 300 billion and the rest is channeled by four other banks.
The four banks include KEB Hana Indonesia Rp200 billion, while the three BPD - Bank Sulselbar, Bank Papua, and Bank Jateng each Rp150 billion, Rp100 billion and Rp100 billion.
PermataBank Director of Wholesale Banking, Darwin Wibowo, said that his party is optimistic that the credit facility provided can support Mandala's business in the field of motor vehicle financing, especially two-wheelers, which is starting to revive again.
"This collaboration is also PermataBank's commitment to our efforts as a universal bank in providing products and services to all segments across generations," said Darwin in his statement, Friday, June 10.
In this commitment, PermataBank continues to apply the precautionary principle in disbursing loans given the ongoing impact of the pandemic and has indirectly led to an increase in inherent credit risk. With the achievement of Operating Income which grew rapidly at 21.9 percent and strong asset growth, PermataBank's performance continued to improve and strengthened its position in the ranks of the 10 largest banks in Indonesia.
Mandala Multifinance Business Director Christel Lasmana said, the trust given by PermataBank is a very big support in the current economic recovery period.
"Especially for Mandala, which is engaged in financing two-wheeled vehicles, in providing the best service and reaching more consumers in Indonesia," said Christel.
As additional information, until the first quarter of 2022 PermataBank recorded a loan growth of 10 percent to Rp129 trillion. This record was mainly driven by growth in corporate loans and mortgages by 17.3 percent and 22.7 percent, respectively.
