Officially Joining KTM Starting MotoGP 2023, Jack Miller: With Ducati, I Have Grown Fast As A Rider
JAKARTA - Australian racer, Jack Miller, is confirmed to leave Ducati in MotoGP 2023. Miller officially joins KTM starting next season.
Jack Miller signed a two-year contract that will keep him at KTM until MotoGP 2024. This also ends Miller's five years with Ducati.
This 27-year-old racer started his career at Ducati in the 2018 season. At that time he was brought by Pramac Ducati from Marc VDS Honda.
Three seasons with Pramac, Jack Miller then promoted to the factory Ducati team. In the 2021 season, the former Red Bull KTM Ajo rider finished in fourth place in the final MotoGP rider standings.
"Five very important years for me. Together with Ducati, I have won several podiums, including two victories that I will never forget," Miller said in the official Ducati website.
"In addition to the two constructors' world titles and the team title last year, I finished fourth in the championship, and that was my best result in MotoGP."
"Together with the Pramac Racing Team and the Ducati Lenovo Team, I have grown a lot as a rider and over the years. I always feel like I'm the best version of myself," he continued.
Miller said he would face a new challenge starting next season. However, right now his focus is on finishing his final season with Ducati with satisfactory results.
"Right now, I just want to think about finishing the season with my team in the best possible way. I thank all the Ducati Corse, my team, Gigi (Luigi Dall'Igna), Paolo (Ciabatti), Davide and the people who have worked with me for these five seasons," concluded Jack Miller.
