Governor Andi Sudirman Explains Potential Of South Sulawesi To Australian PM
MAKASSAR - Governor of South Sulawesi Andi Sudirman Sulaiman explained various investment potentials in this province that can be collaborated when meeting Australian Prime Minister (PM) Anthony Albanese.
Andi Sudirman Sulaiman explained to the Australian PM various innovation programs, including the potential of South Sulawesi including agriculture, animal husbandry, renewable energy, and others.
"We offer them (the Australian PM) that we have quite good livestock potential," he said when receiving the visit of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at the South Sulawesi Governor's office, Makassar, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, June 7.
The Governor hopes that the meeting with the Australian PM at the South Sulawesi Governor's Office can be a good opportunity for investment in this area.
"We hope that the Australian PM's visit will be a sign of opportunities for cooperation," he said.
He admitted that he was proud that South Sulawesi was one of the first destination provinces for Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
He said this was his first visit to Indonesia, after Anthony was sworn in as Prime Minister of Australia in May 2022.
"South Sulawesi is the first visit by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese after meeting Indonesian President Joko Widodo at the State Palace," he said.
