16 New 332 Km Toll Roads Targeted For Completion By The End Of 2022
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) together with partners and the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) continue to build a number of toll road projects in order to improve connectivity.
It is recorded that 4 toll road sections along 42.98 km have been inaugurated to operate since the beginning of 2022.
The Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the PUPR Ministry, Danang Parikesit, said that until the end of 2022, it is targeted that there will be 16 new toll road sections that are ready to be inaugurated along 332 km.
"The closest is the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road section (24.65 km) sections 2 and 3, with the BUJT PT Cibitung Tanjung Priok Port Tollways. The second, which is in the process of functional feasibility testing is the Padang-Pekanbaru Toll Road Section Pekanbaru-Bangkinang (31, 0 km) with the BUJT PT Hutama Karya, and finally the function feasibility test for the Lubuk Linggau-Curup-Bengkulu section of the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung section (16.7 km) with the BUJT PT Hutama Karya," Danang told reporters, Tuesday, June 7 .
Danang said that the remaining 13 segments are targeted for completion by the end of December 2022.
"The three sections are the closest for us to be able to complete and have functional feasibility tests, hopefully they can be inaugurated by President Jokowi," he said.
Based on BPJT data, the other 13 sections are the Serpong-Cinere Section 2 Pamulang-Limo (3.6 km) with the BUJT PT Cinere Serpong Jaya (CSJ), the Cinere-Jagorawi section Section 3 Limo-Kukusan (5.5 km) with the BUJT PT. Trans Lingkar Kita Jaya (TLKJ), the Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu section Sections 1A, 2A and 2A-Ujung (6.6 km) with BUJT PT Kresna Kusuma Dyandra Marga (KKDM), and the Serpong-Balaraja section Section 1A (5, 2 km) with BUJT PT Trans Bumi Serbaraja (TBS).
Furthermore, the South Jakarta-Cikampek II section Package 3 Kutanegara-Sadang (8.5 Km) with BUJT PT Jasamarga Japek Selatan, Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan Section 2-6 (49.3 km) with BUJT PT Citra Karya Jabar Tol, Sigli-Banda Aceh section 1.5,6 (38.2 km) with BUJT PT Hutama Karya, Semarang-Demak section Section 2 Sayung-Demak (16.3 km) with BUJT PT PP Semarang-Demak, and the Sp. The next section targeted for completion by the end of 2022 is the Ciawi-Sukabumi Section 2 Cigombong-Cibadak (11.9 km) with BUJT PT Trans Jabar Toll, Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Toll Road Sections 1 and 2 Tebing Tinggi-Kuala Tanjung (38, 5 km) with BUJT PT Hutama Marga Waskita, Cibitung-Cilincing Section 4 Tarumajaya-Cilincing (7.52 km) with BUJT PT Cibitung Tanjung Priok Port Tollways, and Cimanggis-Cibitung Section 2 Jatikarya-Cikeas Segment (3.5 km) with BUJT PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways.
Until June 2022, said Danang, the total operation of toll roads in Indonesia has reached 2,500 km, which is divided into 66 toll road sections and 46 toll road business entities (BUJT) in Java, Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan Island, to Sulawesi Island.
Danang said the total was an accumulation of toll roads that were completed and operated in the 1978-2014 period of 789 km, the 2015-2019 period of 1,298 km, in 2020 of 246 km, in 2021 of 122 km, and from 2022 to 31 May 2022. reaching a length of 42.98 km.
"Based on the realization, the toll road operating from 2021 to the end of 2022 is 164.98 km long with a percentage increase of 18.59%. It is targeted that by the end of 2022 the operating toll road will reach 2,955 km. So that in 2024, the total length of operational toll roads will reach 4,761 km," said Danang.
