Whale ADA Says Cardano's Position Is Still Solid

JAKARTA – The owner of the most Cardano crypto or Whale ADA believes that the cryptocurrency is still in a solid position. Recently the ADA development team IOHK stated that the Plutus upgrades address scalability difficulties.

"I am an optimist. People told me last year that “H1 2022 before Vasil will be a disaster for Cardano due to throughput issues, after that sunshine & rainbows,” wrote the ADA Whale Twitter account.

Furthermore, the account assesses that after that ADA will experience an increase. At the time of writing, the price of the Cardano cryptocurrency has increased by 12 percent in the last 24 hours. ADA is trading at Rp9,202 at 14:50 WIB, 6 June 2022.

As reported by U.Today, IOHK previously stated that it intends to group several code releases covering key elements of its scaling plan, such as pipelining, the new Plutus CIP and UTXO on-disk storage, and Hydra on Vasil's June and October hard forks.

These features, when combined with parameter adjustments, aim to increase Cardano's throughput and optimize the system to support a growing number of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, smart contracts, and decentralized exchanges or DEXs.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson recently shared a tweet describing a 369 percent increase in daily on-chain transfer volume for Cardano compared to other blockchains, which recorded a significant decline in this aspect.

Currently Cardano (ADA) occupies the top six cryptocurrencies by market cap. ADA is below BNB and USDC. Meanwhile, in the last two weeks, ADA's price performance has increased by 30.9 percent, according to data from Coingecko.
