Take Off Their Coats And Roll Up Their Shirt Sleeves, Jokowi And The Australian PM Have Fun Riding A Bamboo Bicycle To A Restaurant

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) invites Australian Prime Minister (PM) Anthony Albanese to ride a bamboo bicycle in the backyard of the Bogor Presidential Palace and the Bogor Botanical Gardens area, West Java, Monday, June 6.

In a live broadcast that was watched on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel, Jokowi invited PM Anthony to plant a camphor tree, which has the Latin name Dryobalanops lanceolata.

After planting trees, Jokowi invited Anthony to Raasaa Resto in Bogor Botanical Gardens for a face-to-face meeting.

Based on the Antara report, the two leaders of the country headed for the restaurant by riding a bicycle made of a bamboo frame, made by Singgih S. Kartono, a native of Indonesia.

Before riding the bamboo bicycle, Jokowi and Anthony took off their coats and ties, rolled up their shirt sleeves, and put on their helmets.

Jokowi and Anthony then took a leisurely bicycle together through the path at the Bogor Botanical Gardens, which Jokowi usually goes through when cycling on weekends.

After cycling for about five minutes, Jokowi and Anthony arrived near the restaurant where they met. The two then got off and led their bikes while talking to the restaurant yard.

Arriving at the restaurant where the meeting was held, President Jokowi and PM Anthony immediately held a face-to-face meeting together.
