The First Group Of Hajj Pilgrims Will Occupy 29 Hotels In Sector 1 And 3 Medina
JAKARTA - The first flying group of hajj pilgrims departing from Indonesia on Saturday will occupy hotels in sectors 1 and 3 in the City of Medina, Saudi Arabia.
Deputy Head of Sector 3 Madinah Bayu Prayitno said pilgrims arriving in Madinah City on Saturday would be placed in Taba Towers Hotel, Jewar Al Saqefah Hotel, Al Andalus Palace Hotel, Al Madinah Concorde Hotel in sector 1, Markaziyah Syimaliah area, and Hayah Taibah Hotel in sector 3, the Janubiah Markaziyah area.
Pilgrims in the SOC 1 and SOC 2 groups from the Solo Embarkation will occupy the Taba Towers Hotel, the congregants in the JKG 1 Embarkation from the Jakarta-Pondok Gede Embarkation will occupy the Jewar Al Saqefah Hotel, the pilgrims in the JKS 1 group from the Jakarta-Bekasi Embarkation will occupy the Taba Towers Hotel, the pilgrims in the cluster JKS 2 from the Jakarta-Bekasi Embarkation occupied the Al Andalus Palace Hotel, and the congregation in the PDG 1 group from the Padang Embarkation stayed at the Al Madinah Concorde Hotel.
Meanwhile, the congregation in the SUB 1 group from the Surabaya Embarkation will occupy the Hayah Taibah Hotel in the Markaziyah Janubiah area.
"There are 29 hotels in Medina that will be used by Indonesian pilgrims. The farthest distance from the hotel from the Prophet's Mosque is only 500 meters," said Bayu.
He explained, the hotels rented by the government in three areas (sectors) which include Markaziyah Syimaliah, Markaziyah Gharbiah, and Markaziyah Janubiah can accommodate 24,315 members of the Indonesian Hajj congregation.

Previously, the Head of the Hajj Organizing Committee for the Medina Work Area, Amin Handoyo, said that there were additional sectors or work areas within the Prophet's Mosque to monitor pilgrims performing worship and the Bir Ali sector to monitor pilgrims when they headed to Mecca from Medina.
Indonesian pilgrims who came in the first batch entered Saudi Arabia via Medina and stayed in the city for a maximum of nine days to perform the 40 daily prayers at the Prophet's Mosque.
Then they will head to the city of Mecca to perform the pilgrimage.
Indonesian pilgrims who come in the second batch will go directly to the city of Mecca, perform the pilgrimage, and then head to the city of Medina to worship at the Prophet's Mosque before returning to the country.
