COVID-19 Update As Of June 3: 372 New Cases, 3,123 Active Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 72,486 specimens were examined with the result that there were 372 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,056,017 and active cases have increased by 18 to 3,123," said Ministry of Health data, Friday, June 3.
The number of recovered cases today increased by 350 people, bringing the total to 5,896,290 recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 4 cases and totaled 156,604 people.
The province with the most new cases is DKI Jakarta with 173 cases and a total of 1,2512.11 cases. Followed by West Java with 46 new cases with a total of 110,6761 cases. Banten with 40 new cases and a total of 293,285 cases. East Java has 33 new cases and a total of 576,375 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 140 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an additional 81 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 30 recovered cases, and West Java with an additional 27 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 98,928,466.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.51 percent," he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 3,047 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
So far, 200,394,788 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 167,598,405 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 46,207,196. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
