BioWare Confirms Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Will Not Be Released This Year
JAKARTA - BioWare has been working hard on the next Dragon Age franchise. On Thursday, June 2nd, BioWare revealed the title and logo for the next Dragon Age project. The title of the game is called Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
“Our next game now has an official name. We know you've been anxiously awaiting new details, and today we're excited to reveal the official title of the next adventure across Thedas lands, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf," the BioWare Team wrote on its website.
Dragon Age is a fantasy game series created by BioWare. The first game, Dragon Age: Origins, was released in 2009. This was followed by Dragon Age II, a sequel to Origins, which was released in March 2011. Dragon Age: Inquisition was released in November 2014.
If you've tasted all the stories from this Dragon Age franchise, with the same characters, Solas shows you an endless spectrum of possibilities about where this could lead. However, if you are new to Dragon Age, you will be introduced to the antagonists in the game.
BioWare doesn't provide many details about the new game. BioWare also confirmed that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf won't be released this year, but development is ongoing. The team promises to provide more information by the end of this year. "Even though the game won't be releasing this year, we're getting closer to our next adventure," he said.
In addition to the next Dragon Age, BioWare is also working on a new chapter of Mass Effect, which seems to hint at Shepard's return.
